Beijing 2008 Olympic Games (Lead Physiotherapist with Great Britain Judo) Athens 2004 Olympic Games (IOC physiotherapist) Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games (Scotland Team Physiotherapist) Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games (Scotland Team Physiotherapist) Neil has spent the past three years working as Lead Physiotherapist with Great Britain Judo, travelling extensively around the World and with them to the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Since 2005 he has split his time between the UK and Chamonix, and has now settled here permanently.
For almost ten years he has worked in sports at an International level, including Athletics, Hockey and Judo, as well as working with elite athletes from Track and field, Skiing, Sponsored Mountaineering / Climbing Athletes, Swimming, Rugby, Rowing, and Boxing.
Neil has worked in the NHS, for several private physiotherapy and sports medicine clinics, and for the English and Scottish Institutes of Sport.
Neil is also a Director of First Aid Physio LTD, which teaches the ‘National Sports First Aid’ course to UK physiotherapists who wish to improve their skills in pitch-side physiotherapy, and first aid club level and for major sporting events. |
